I brought my Australian husband Eddie to Killin for a holiday last August for Davie's 60th
birthday and he has raved about the hospitality and the beauty of Scotland ever since.
I felt it colder than Eddie did and I am from Killin. It was really great to see so many people I
know and we will definately be back for another holiday in a couple of years. Thanks to everyone for making us feel so at home.

What a fantastic website! I'm so glad I found it. I was born in Killin (well, Airthrey Castle actually!) in 1962. My Dad, Bill Mitchell, was the pro at the golf club and my Mum, Judy, taught at the school. In fact I found her on one of the old photos, which was great. There might still be some folks around who remember her playing the piano to accompany singers like Calum Kennedy in local venues. Although I was very young when we left Killin, I have very fond memories and call in whenever possible on my way north.
