Owners Amanda Clark and Bob Stevenson, who have run the hotel for the past 5 years, said: “As a traditional Scottish inn we are particularly pleased to be recognised in this category. We would like to thank all our team for their hard work and commitment. This recognition is especially meaningful to us in this the 250th Anniversary year of the hotel.”

In each category of the Scottish Hotel Awards there are up to nine winners selected from the different regions. From these regional winners the national winners will then be selected, and finally one overall hotel of the year. The national hotel winners will be presented on Sunday 19 April 2015 at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow.
