MINUTES OF MEETING TUESDAY 8th JAN 2008 IN Killin Primary School

THE MAIN AIM IS TO ENCOURAGE THE USE OF THE COMPOSTING SITE RATHER THAN HAVE THE GARDEN WASTE ETC, GO TO POLMAISE WHICH MEANS A 80 MILE ROUND TRIP. THE COMPOST SITE NOW BELONGS TO THE FORTH ENVIRONMENTAL LINK AND NOT STIRLING COUNCIL. A LIST OF WHAT CAN BE PUT IN THE COMPOST WILL BE DISPLAYED AT THE SITE.

ANGLING CLUB NEED £1390.00 TO HELP PROVIDE LARGE BINS AT PIER RD, FIRBUSH AND CLOIHRAN BURN THIS WILL BE TAKEN TO THE NEXT K.A.T. MEETING NEXT WEEK. K.A.T. WILL TRY FOR A GRANT.

MANSE ROAD WATER LEAK COUNCIL KNOW ABOUT IT AND WILL
HOPEFULLY ATTEND TO IT SOON

WINTER MAINTENANCE PAVEMENTS AT GREY ST AND DOCHART ROAD ARE OUTWITH THE AREA IDENTIFIED FOR ICE AND SNOW CLEARING THEY ALSO DO NOT REACH THE CRITERIA FOR A SALT BIN THE COUNCIL SAY THERE IS LITTLE THAT CAN BE DONE
