MATTERS ARISING




ROAD MAINTENANCE THE ROAD OUTSIDE CRAIGBUIE HOUSE ON THE MAIN STREET IS DEEMED TO BE OF REQUIRED STANDARD AND SAFE ALTHOUGH UNSIGHTLY AFTER THE JET PATCHER REPAIRED IT.

GRIT BINS ONGOING

PLAYPARK FUNDING HAS BEEN SECURED FOR £10,000 TO BUY NEW EQUIPMENT FOR THE PLAYPARK. EXAMPLES OF PLAY EQUIPMENT THAT CAN BE BOUGHT WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE NEXT KILLIN CONSULTATION MEETING IN THE KILLIN HOTEL ON 21st MAY 2011 AT 11AM. ALL WELCOME

DRAINAGE ON THE FOOTBALL PITCH HAS ALREADY STARTED. THIS IS STAGE ONE OF THE PLAN AND STAGE TWO WILL BEGIN WHEN MORE FUNNDING HAS BEEN SECURED
GOAL POSTS GRANTS ARE AVAILABLE AND FUNDING IS BEING APPLIED FOR

DOCHART BRIDGE IAN YOUNG OF STIRLING COUNCIL HAS INFORMED TH KILLIN CC THAT THE BRIDGE IS SAFE. A COPY OF THE SURVEY TAKEN IS TO BE OBTAINED

GLEN LYON ROAD A LETTER TO BE WRITTEN TO ASK WHAT EXACTLY THE INTENSIONS OF THE LAND OWNER ARE

FUNDING IS AVAILABLE THROUGH STIRLING COUNCIL LOCAL ESTATE ACTION PLAN.THIS CAN BE USED TO IMPROVE FENCING LANES AND OPEN SPACES ETC FOR COUNCIL TENNANTS.

DOG LITTER HAS BEEN REPORTED AS A PROBLEM AT THE FINGAL POND

PC MALCOLM O’MAY IS THE NEW RURAL WILDLIFE CRIME OFFICER

GRIT RESIDUE HAS BEEN REPORTED AS A PROBLEM ON THE PAVEMENTS. WILL BE ASKED TO BE CLEARED

A MEMBER OF THE KILLIN YOUTH GROUP WILL ATTEND FUTURE KILLIN CC MEETINGS

YOUTH GROUP HELD A MEETING WITH DAVID BROWN TO DISCUSS A POSSIBLE BUS PASS FOR AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. ALSO THE POSSIBILITY OF RENEWING THE YOUNG SCOT CARDS THAT THE SCHOOL WON’T REPLACE. THERE WAS ALSO DISCUSSION ABOUT THE PROSPECT OF A SUNDAY AM BUS TO KILLIN FROM CALLANDER.

THE A84 CALLANDER TO STRATHYRE ROAD WILL BE CLOSE FROM 7PM TO 6AM FOR A WEEK IN JUNE. IT HAS BEEN ASKED IF THIS CAN BE PUT BACK TO 10PM AS 7PM WAS DEEMED TOO EARLY FOR LOCALS AND TOURIST ALIKE
DATE OF
A MOBILE HOME AT THE BOTTOM CAR PARK IS TO BE INVESTIGATED AS IT HAS BEEN THERE SINCE DECEMBER. POLICE TO CHECK
