RURAL HOUSING FUNDING NOW AVAILABLE. AN ANSWER ON THE PLANNING APPLICATION TO BE RECEIVED BY 18th AUG 2009

VILLAGE OFFICER ONGOING CLLR FFINCH TO ATTEND TO AS TWO NAMES HAVE BEEN PUY FORWARD

ROADS ROADS ARE A DISGRACE AND CONTRACTORS ARE TO BE CONTACTED TO COME BACK AND REPAIR CLLR FFINCH TO ATTEND TO

THE OLD MART STILL NO SATISFACTORY ANSWER AS YET CLLR FFINCH TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS A TIME LIMIT ON TIDYING THE LAND UP.

PLAYPARK A INSPECTION ON THE PLAY PARK WAS CARRIED OUT AND THE FENCE FOUND TO BE OK. THERE IS NO WAY OF KEEPING CATS OUT. LOCAL MUMS TO COST NEW EQUIPMENT AND CC WILL HELP FIND OUT ABOUT WHAT CAN BE DONE FOR FUNDING.

NATIONAL PARK WE ARE NOT JOINING CAIRNGORM NATIONAL PARK KENMORE NOT TO JOIN THE LOCH LOMOND AND TROSSACHS PARK A PUBLIC VOTE ON WHETHER WE ARE ALLOWED TO COME OUT OF THE PARK IS NOT POSSIBLE AS THE DECISION IS MADE BY THE GOVERNMENT

K.A.T. FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR SILVER COTTAGE COMPLETE

FOLKLORE CENTRE MEETINGS ARE ONGOINGAT THE MOMENT WITH STIRLING COUNCIL TO SEE IF WE CAN COME UP WITH A VIALBE PROJECT THAT WILL KEEP THE CENTRE OPEN FOR THE VILLAGE

OUT OF SCHOOL CARE ONGOING

DOG WARDEN PLEASE REPORT ALL DOG FOULING TO THE POLICE

PETITION TWO CC MEMBERS HAD A MEETING WITH THE TRUSTEES OF MCLAREN HALL. THE TRUSTEES WERE UNABLE TO COMMENT ABOUT JOHN GRANT’S EVICTION AS IT IS A LEGAL MATTER AND IS BEING DEALT WITH BY SOLICITORS. MINUETS OF THE MEETING WERE UNAVAILABLE AND WILL BE FORWARDED A.S.A.P. IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT A PUBLIC MEETING SHOULD BE HELD. IT WAS ALSO RECOMMENDED THAT IF THERE WERE ANY QUESTIONS THEY SHOULD BE RAISED AT THE MCLAREN HALL A.G.M. THE DATE WILL BE CONFIRMED NEARER THE TIME

AREA COMMUNITY PLANNING MEETING
A RECENT MEETING HIGHLIGHTED AGAIN MANY PROBLEMS – LACK OF TRANSPORT, SLIP ROAD ACCESS, NO HELIPAD AND AMBULANCE AVAILABILITY. THE LOCAL COUNCILS WERE SENDING A JOINT LETTER TO THE SCOTTISH HEALTH MINISTER ABOUT THE LACK OF RECOGNITION OF THESE PROBLEMS. NO DISCUSSION ABOUT THE AMBULANCE SERVICE CONSULTATION WITH PATIENTS TOOK PLACE BUT THIS WILL BE PUBLICISED

HOLE IN PAVEMENT AT MONEMORE IT WAS REPORTED AND FIXED BUT NOT TO A SATIFACTORY STANDARD. REQUIRES TO BE FIXED AGAIN CLLR FFINCH TO ATTEND TO

STIRLING COUNCIL HAVE A NEW POLICY THEY WILL NOT EVICT PEOPLE WHO DON’T PAY THEIR RENT AS THE HAVE TO REHOUSE THEM ANYWAY. THRER WERE 23 EVICTIONS LAST YEAR

NEXT MEETING WILL BE HELD IN KILLIN PRIMARY SCHOOL AT 7.30PM ON TUES 8th SEPT 09
