Dog fouling targeted
Dog mess has long been an unwelcome daily issue to be dealt with in most people’s lives, whether they are dog lovers or not. For one reason or another, some dog owners fail to clean up after their dog and choose to leave the mess behind most notably in public areas where adults and children walk.

Over the past decade or so, the Ardeonaig Hotel on the South banks of Loch Tay has ridden some fantastic waves of good fortune as well as arguably grinding along the seabed at times.
Davidsons Chemist opening nears
A hive of activity has taken over the former sedate ‘Pride of Place’ shop in the Main Street of Killin as the Davidsons Chemist opening nears. They continue to renovate the property ahead of their planned April 2014 opening date. Permission was granted to allow Davidson to open a pharmacy in Killin despite a strong local rejection.

How do I order my repeat prescriptions after February 28th? This will not change. You can still order by telephone or by handing in the re-order section of the repeat prescription. All repeat prescriptions are processed within 48 hours.
Public Toilet Survey
Stirling Council have indicated that they will close the public toilet facilities in Killin which will affect the community. The Killin and Ardeonaig Trust want to find a way to build and provide a public toilet facility that is affordable to run.
Community councillors needed
Killin has been without a community council for some months now and volunteers are needed to fill up twelve vacancies left by those stepping down. If you are over 16, resident in the Killin council area and would like to stand for the Community council, please complete and send in nomination form attached below.
No Post Office ?
Killin remains without a local Post Office for the first time in many years. A mobile Post Office currently visits the village between 3.30pm-5.30pm on Tuesdays and from 4.30pm – 5.30pm on Wednesdays parking behind Fraser’s hardware store beside the Bank of Scotland in the Main Street.
