Skerryvore in the McLaren Hall
On Friday 17th June, the award winning, trad-rock band Skerryvore will play the McLaren Hall – a first visit to the village for the band. Skerryvore were recently described in the Falkirk Herald as “Six of the best musical ambassadors Scotland could ever have wished for… a living, breathing, twelve legged party waiting to happen.
The McLaren Hall is the second biggest Hall in Perthshire, and is the centrepiece of many of the social events held in this picturesque part of Breadalbane. It was built in 1934 as part of a bequest from Mr Archibald McLaren, to the people of Killin and District. Mr McLaren farmed at Dall farm Ardeonaig.
