Trying to trace some family history and the 1891 census for Killin has my great grandfather as a Blacksmith and residing at what looks like the name KILLATA or something similar. Can anyone help identify the whereabouts of this in the Killin area. The road or street entry prior to this refers to a Railway Hut and the one after refers to what may have been the Postmans cottage? Postman at that time was a John McKay.

Any help would be appreciated as it looks like my grandfather ( James Mc Farlane) was brought up in the area and often referred to the Falls of Dochart.

Separate email responses have now helped traced this to Keilator near Crianlarich. Thanks for the responses.

    Jim (James) McFarlane
