I am trying to locate any descendants of the Dewar family. My Grandmother was Jessie Dewar born 1902. She had 4 brothers: Duncan, Hughie,John and Donald and 4 sisters : Elizabeth, Margaret, Catherine and Christine.
Her mother was Margaret McCallum and her father was John Dewar. He was a deerstalker on Black Mount estate of Lady Breadalbanes. Margaret’s parents were called Elizabeth McLaren and Duncan McCallum (born in Kenmore).
I would be pleased to hear from anyone with any information.

Dear Lorna, Your grandmother, Jessie and my grandmother, Catherine Dewar (married name Fletcher) were sisters. We are related! I would love to make contact with you. I am sorry that I haven’t been on the Forum for a very long time and am just seeing this post and your reply to my earlier post about Elizabeth McLaren. I have lots of family information to share with you. I look forward to linking up with you. Fiona

Thank you Killin.info for providing this forum. Lorna and I have linked up as a result and we are continuing our family tree journey together!
