Killin Memories Day
The National Trust for Scotland (NTS) and the Killin Heritage Society held a joint open day on Sunday 16th of August, exhibiting some of their collections from Moirlanich Longhouse and the Killin Railway. The aim of the day was to gather any recollections people had of either of these that had not been recorded before.

Killin Highland Games 2015 cancelled
Killin Highland Games, due to take place on Wednesday, 5th August 2015, has been cancelled due to very soft ground in Breadalbane Park. A committee member said the games would not go ahead this year after checking the state of the park ground.
Loch Tay Internet building better broadband future
Rural communities around Loch Tay in Perthshire are working together to create a new broadband service that will unlock social, economic and educational opportunities for the area.

Building repair grant from National Park
Do you own a listed building, a traditional pre 1919 property in a conservation area or a property on a main route in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park (LLTNP), that is in need of repair? The National Park built heritage repair grant may be able to offer some assistance.
Killin Duck Race set for Sat 2nd May
Killin and Crianlarich Primary school will be running their annual Killin Duck Race on Saturday 2nd May 2015 from 11am. Each duck costs £2 and are on sale before the race from Killin Co-op.
Bridge of Lochay successful at Scottish Hotel Awards
The Bridge of Lochay Hotel at the north end of Killin has been named as a regional winner in the 2015 Scottish Hotel Awards. The team are now in the running to be selected as a national winner in their category and then as overall Scottish Hotel of the Year 2015.
